Items To Remember
- Properly fitted safety approved helmet It’s the law! (required)
- Identification and emergency numbers
- Water bottles
- Cell phone (Safety Tip: No talking while riding)
- Padded Cycling Shorts
- Sunscreen and Chapstick
- Cash
- Cycling Gloves

Important Reminders
- $250 minimum pledge must be raised by July 17, 2009, Fund Raising Tips
- Signed Waiver: You must turn in by Saturday, June 6 (morning of the ride) to participate.
- Check the weather and dress for it…We ride rain or shine!
- Rider Numbers: You can pick up your rider number the morning of Saturday, June 6th.
- Registration areas, are very busy places that morning. Please be sure to allow plenty of time.
- We transport your luggage! Attach the luggage tag you receive with your rider number and we will transport it to the University. Take your bag(s) to the luggage trucks at your start location
- Stretch before, during and after the ride! And train for the ride, Training 101
- Rest stops are located every 15 – 20 miles and the route is fully stocked with food and drinks. Be sure to bring your water bottle(s)!
- Support you can count on: Our sponsoring bike shops are at each rest stop in case you need mechanical support, our medical support, communications team, safety advisers, and gold wings are there to make sure you are safe. Plus, if you can’t push another pedal; our SAG Wagons are there to pick you up!
- Lodging, read about the different types of lodging for Saturday night.
- Fun at the University, there will be plenty of things to do at the college after your ride Saturday. Watch for more information.
- Bus transportation (for you and your bike) is provided for the return trip back to your start location on Sunday. Buses depart from Conneaut, Ohio.
- Conneaut Park Finish Line, pick up your t-shirt, enjoy DJ Max, eat, receive your bike MS medal, and much more!
