MS 150 Experience

March 14th, 2010

Good Morning Champions for MS!

A century is milestone in time, life, and the sport of cycling. For me at age 40 MS brought me back to the sport of cycling by meeting and training with an incredible lady, who loved the sport of cycling more than I did, and made me realize how lucky I was each time I rode. Every training mile, we would focus on what we saw along the way, those we met, and the towns we rode through as the miles passed. Time seemed to drift away in those days…Although I don’t remember many of those rides, I do remember how we felt after, and what we spoke of during those rides…

I turned 40 the year I rode my first MS 150…It was my gift to myself…It was a way of celebrating life doin567737508_g2GSo-M_Teammates - Copyg something which I loved…

Well here we are 11 years later, and I turned  50 earlier this year, and what a year it has been. This incredible team has  proven that it’s not the flag you ride under which defines a team, but the character. I am convinced more today than567412000_8F3Uq-M_Group_Hug - Copy ever that this event changes our lives for the better. Riding as individuals we can do good things, but as a team we achieve greatness…

Champions for MS was founded on the principal that we truly Champion the MS cause and are in essence the guardians of thier welfare.

Together as a team we take the fight to MS each and every day.

I ask you to celebrate    life, your life, and the lives of those you touch along the way, and ride for MS.

Heart…Determination…Courage…

We are Champions for MS – You will remember your first MS 150.

Thank you.
